I think that one of the most important things you learn from reading the gospel is: The road to destruction is wide and the road to life is narrow.
What is the Gospel? The gospel is the life of Jesus and the only way to get to Heaven.
Justice: How did Jesus save us and have justice? Jesus paid the ransom by being crucified on a cross - the usual punishment for crimes such as revolts against the empire in Rome.
Sin should be spelt with a big I in the middle!
I think that one of the most important verses in the Bible is: Trust in the Lord with all your heart, do not lean on your own understanding, in all your ways acknowledge Him and he will make your path straight. So choose the right way!
God’s one goal: to make all people love and respect him with all their hearts.
Conscience: “The law is written in their hearts, their conscience also bearing witness…” Romans 2:15. What does this tell us about God? He is just! God is true, faithful, righteous and holy.
The Bible says that man was created in the image of God and made a moral being. So if God would say we are forgiven every time we did something wrong and we got told it was ok and there was no punishment, we would never learn.
So Adam ate the fruit and he hid because he realised that he was naked and he had a conscience. Also, if people think we come from monkeys, our main argument is that people have a conscience.
If you can remember if you did sin, why wouldn’t God? The Bible makes it ver clear that the knowledge of God is written on their hearts, so we are without excuse when we sin.
*Sin should be spelt with a capital I.
The gospel is the story that opens the gates to Heaven for us. It says about how Jesus died for us and saved us from hell, or consequences for our sins.
The gospel is the good news but the Gospels are the story of Jesus’ life and message. I think the main message is that: mankind can now be saved from the penalty of sin, and receive eternal life with God.
He is the same yesterday, today and for ever!
This is the Good News!
