There are many Gospels but The Gospel is that?
The gospel is the good news that we can go to Heaven!
What is sin and how do we stop it? We can’t stop sin but sin is when we do something wrong. What stops us from God is sin, but the first thing is that everyone in the world has sinned except for God and Jesus.
If sin stops us from God then how do we get to Heaven?
Even if we do one bad thing and 1 000 000 000 000 000 good things, the bad thing is still there like sin. Everybody sins, so does that mean that nobody gets to go to heaven? No! Everybody sins but we get to go to Heaven if we believe in God. Not just that, we need to believe that if we believe in him, we will go to Heaven.
I think sin is a little bit scary. To me sin is like an MA 15+ movie. It is super scary. But I fully don’t understand what it is yet but I think it is this. Sin is like a hand grenade thrown at you. Because if a knife is stabbed into you, you will get stitches and you will be fine.But a hand grenade, if it’s thrown at you, it can blow you up and will leave permanent damage just like sin. Even if you do millions of good things to make up for the one bad thing, the bad thing is there to stay because it is permanent just like a hand grenade.
Many people say that we need to be holy and obey all the commandments to be with God in Heaven because if we break just one then we will never go to Heaven. But everyone in the entire universe except for Jesus has sinned. So does that mean that nobody will go to Heaven? No! It does not mean that, it means that God is the only one that can forgive us for our sins. He is the only one that can erase sharpie and he is the only one that can erase the permanent damage done by a hand grenade.
The Bible says that God has written the law on our hearts. To me this makes perfect sense because if you do something bad then that’s why you feel guilty. You feel guilty because your heart knows that you have sinned. If you lie that makes you a liar. If you steal that makes you a thief. If you disobey God that makes you a sinner.
John 3:16-18 “For this is how God loved the world: He gave his one and only Son, so that everyone who believes in him will not perish but have eternal life.
God sent his Son into the world not to judge the world, but to save the world through Him.“ There is no judgment against anyone who believes in Him.
