Jesus is his name, but Christ is his title. He was named Jesus but his title is Christ Jesus.
Jesus is the Son of God, God in the flesh and the saviour of mankind. He was and is a real historical person, living on Earth 2000 years ago but he lived and is living for eternity!
I believe that Jesus was God, the creator of the universe becoming human. I believe that he is the Trinity, The Father, The Son and The Holy Spirit. This is how the Bible defines who Jesus is. Nobody could take the sins except God himself, because the punishment for sin is death. But he loved us sooo much that he sent his one and only Son to pay the price for us.
*The Messiah means Chosen or Anointed One.
Jesus wasn’t “not nice,” he was disciplining his people when the Temple was a sacred place and the people were using it as a shopping market. How could he just say, “Oh, it’s ok!” He wouldn’t, he was only disciplining his people.
